BTW, my system is still fucked up. I can't connect to the Internet, and I'm currently doing this entry in a public access computer.

Anyone know what's wrong with my PC? BSOD with Fatal Exception 00 (Divide by Zero) or 0E (Page Fault) at or near address 0028:Cxxxxxxx when connected to the Internet (Dial Up Networking/RNAAPP); sometimes the system just hangs or reboots, while sometimes the system displays the "It's okay to turn off your computer" bitmap and hangs. I'm not sure of the address though— all I know is it's a high address, most likely referring to some VxD or driver. I am sure that it occurs at selector 0028. Running applications don't matter; after a clean run (no startup apps) or without the sound card and video card drivers, it still occurs. I noticed it happens within the first five minutes of connection; at times, the system crashes while DUN logs in. A virus scan with the latest viral info files (using NAV 2000) shows nothing; it might be a virus, but I doubt that. I still have yet to do a time-consuming analysis of the f'ing drivers loaded by my system. Other specs: AMD K6-266 (MMX enabled), SiS 5597/98 video (on motherboard), Win98 (with various updates installed). The problem has only become serious lately, but it has been cropping up previously as a minor annoyance, although random in occurence. Oh yeah, the VxD reported by the BSOD has no name— it's reported as '---' (three hyphens). I'm giving up on this problem (almost) because I might lose all my hair.

Anyone?
