I did go to Congress. But not as an elected official, mind you.
Yesterday, I went to the Batasan Complex in Batasan Hills, Quezon City. Interesting trip. I had to perform research about The Philippine Congress for Philippine History. Unfortunately, I came ill-equipped. I'm returning there probably this Saturday.
The place looked empty, though. Strange.
If you're interested, you can get there by taking a bus to Fairview/Commonwealth, then hopping off at the Sandiganbayan. Then, you take a trike to Batasan. Pretty straightforward.
