Warning! Geek Speak!
I've ironed out most of the problems with my modem drivers. I don't experience the BSOD anymore (at least, it hasn't yet), I've eliminated the annoying "Change the country code" pop-up (changing the modem's country setting didn't work. Apparently it was checking the Windows telephony country code), and I'm getting really good 56K connections, even at my ISP. Well, almost. I have a hard time connecting to my ISP since their head-ends spew out garbage 8 times out of 10, instead of the login prompt. Bah-humbuig.
Meanwhile, I'm fixing the MT templates on my site. Hopefully, I can also fix the other parts of my site.
And if you're planning to send me mail, I might not get it after April 20 if you email me at my Edsamail address. Edsamail. is shutting down their free email service, and is planning to charge their users PhP1.00 per day, or PhP365.00 a year. Dammit. I want my free email!!!
