I’m about to buy a laptop. Since I have no experience buying laptops, I would very much appreciate your suggestions. I’m thinking of getting a desknote (cheaper), but I need mobility so I’ll probably end up buying a real notebook. I’m thinking maybe a Toshiba or a Dell— and not necessarily a new one, mind you. Mid- to low-end (P3s and similar are ok, so are older P2s), no OS pre-installed, preferably, thank you, built-in LAN card is a plus.
So, what do you guys think?
