Ugh. I am starting to be annoyed by LogJam. Then again, I am using an older version— 3.0.4 to be exact, which is a GTK1 version. It dies on me fer cryin’ out loud. Must look at the code. Should be interesting though.

Look out for the group “Venus Hum”. (Heads-up courtesy of, of all places, MTV Asia). Songs to give a listen to: Soul Sloshing, Sonic Boom, Montana. Sound is electronica with a vocal edge (music press has been comparing them to a cross between Depeche Mode and Bjork). I actually like them, even if I don’t agree with Bjork.

Recently, I’ve been working on a web-based LDAP browsing and administration tool, as a way of rewriting an earlier projcet. I’ve been doing it as both an exercise and a way to do something to keep my mind active. And recently, there was an email message on the Philippine Linux Users’ Group about it. Woot.

Just finished layouting a small prayer booklet for my sister. I had to run Win98 to do that though— Wine just can’t run PageMaker reliably yet, and Scribus is too… err… doinky. So, after more than six months of pure Linux, I had to run Win98. Ick. Must scrub down…
