Just transplanted an AT power supply from an old semi-functional 486 to our current PC. The PC’s power supply was conking out on us— it was near the end of its operational life, and we had to cycle power several times to sort of kick start it. The previous power supply just couldn’t handle the load anymore (2 hard disks, a CD-ROM drive, 3.5” floppy drive, motherboard with three PCI cards (sound card, winmodem, graphics card), plus processor fan).

I’m thinking of downloading a Wiki for Java instead of writing one myself. Ack. Well, I’m lazy, so sue me. Any suggestions?

God, it feels weird to be typing this at the moment. I’m at home, figuring out a peer-to-peer chat protocol (for a project that’s helluva way overdue— but my lab teacher is kind enough to give us an extension on), and listening to Ibo (who are good, but not normally my type of music). And I feel weird. Guess why.
