  • Google (bot), part 2

Oh, and I've been trying to find out under what phrases Google indexes (?) me. Sheesh.

  • Google (bot)

Been fiddling around with Google. Try this. It searches pages related to my site's root node. You could also try it with other URIs. Type "related:www.your-uri.com" and substitute your site's URI for www.your-uri.com. Most likely, the Googlebot includes pages that refer to your URI.

  • Stalk me down

I have this urge to post entries on certain persons' guestbooks. These certain persons know a certain other person who I knew in high school. YES, I am being obscure. Thank you.

I am suddenly doubting my Christianity.

  • A pic? Oh yes indeed

Unfortunately, this isn't my picture. No scanner, no digital cam you see. So a logo instead. Let's jump for joy.

  • Damnit. I can't help it. I've been browsing LJs for an hour now. Sheet. I'll admit, I'm a voyeur. (No, I don't get myself off watching someone else. You're gross.)

Seriously, there's this certain thrill with reading someone else's life. It's like watching a biography— although the author/director has complete control of what you see in his/her life. Of course, this isn't the Truman Show, wherein the protagonist is totally unaware of the viewer. Hell, most likely the protagonist is effin' aware of who's looking.

  • Guten Morgen

Links to check out: Lauryn, The Diary Registry, "Journal vs. Weblog" (I should really fix my definition of the Asylum), and Zeldman. Now get back to whatever you were doing.

  • Minor adjustments

I just realized that I put up an index page saying the Asylum was hosted by DigitalRice. Whoops. I was planning to move to DigitalRice; however, I'm sticking to Geocities in the meantime while DR is still unstable.

Any suggestions? I need Perl support and SSIs. Well, having only Perl would be fine with me.

By the way, has anyone noticed how voyeuristic all of this is? Read my thoughts on it, only on theAsylum.

  • I'm back

    Asylum is back online.

  • Mental gridlock

Unfortunately, my mind's blank. I have a thousand and one things to do, and here I am writing in this stupid LiveJournal. I have an art paper to complete (and in an hour, I'll have to go to class), and what do I do? I bum around. Good grief.

  • Sunday

Dropped by the ZineCon yesterday evening. I couldn’t stay that long, but I checked it out all the same.
