... the first game of the UAAP finals. Give it 'em a round of applause, people.

  • I just realized that "Anne Hathaway" also refers to William Shakespeare's wife. Yes folks, his wife. Just a minor fact.

Manually configuring the malloc drop-in debug library is not worth the hassle.

Correction: bash is 443 KB only. Hehehe.

  • I downloaded a drop-in malloc library replacement for debugging my pain-in-the-neck program. After unzipping, I realize (belatedly) that I need a UNIX shell to configure the damned library. I don't have a port of the library.

    From Jeffrey Zeldman:

..we must learn to listen, even when we dislike what we hear. Especially when we dislike it. (Italics his; here)

    How apt.

Seems like I was wrong: a new worm has the ability to infect systems just by reading your mail. From the Symantec Website:

...the worm uses a (sic) old known MIME exploit to auto-execute itself. The worm will be unable to execute via Outlook (Express) if the system has been patched against this exploit. Information regarding this exploit can be found at http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/MS01-020.asp

A site I didn't know existed about a city (municipality?) near Las Piñas, here in the South. Be sure to check their IRC channel's web site.
