It’s a midweek, off-schedule update!

I’ve been meaning to really make this blog my own. I originally chose to go with the default Jekyll theme, minima, as it was the lowest friction way for me to get started. However, I’ve always wanted to build an identity for this blog, and using the default theme felt like a crutch.

Recently, I went through my old files and thought: maybe I could adopt the CSS and HTML from old blog? So I did. And so I’ve rebuilt everything with a new theme and all.

You can check out the source of my custom Jekyll theme here. I’m still working on a few tweaks here and there, so expect some minor changes to the site in the coming weeks.

Big thanks to Rico for advice on the CSS.
