I just found out my password has a typo in it. My fingers have learned the typo, so I wasn't aware of it until now. Weird.

I have no idea why this thing is working sometimes. I "reinstalled" the Dial-Up Adapter and TCP/IP (that means I reset the relevant registry items as well as other stuff, but not the files). Also, I used backup copies of some 32-bit DLLs (older copies).

Net connection working. Unstable though. Will have to check out the next few days. If things work out okay... I'll update.

BTW, my system is still fucked up. I can't connect to the Internet, and I'm currently doing this entry in a public access computer.

Finally! Things are working okay with my system. I have to apologize for not updating the asylum. My system was giving me a headache— it would crash with a fatal exception and a BSOD within 5 minutes of my connection. I've solved the problem. The Wave driver for my modem was the one doing the crashing (and I have no idea why).
